Scott Slone is an award-winning American filmmaker originally from Missoula, Montana.
He spent his childhood in various states, including Missouri, Maryland, South Carolina, and Florida, before settling in Los Angeles in 2001. After a year in LA, Scott wrote and directed his first short film, "Old Man Music." The film starred legendary character actor Geoffrey Lewis and won numerous awards in the festival circuit. Since then, Scott has directed several short films, a feature documentary titled "2001: An EDM Odyssey," and the feature film "Malibu Horror Story," which has won an impressive 69 awards in various festivals. Scott's next two features, “Alone in The After”
and “I Think I'm Alone Now,” are scheduled for release in late 2024 and early 2025.
Scott attributes filmmakers Kinji Fukasaku, Sergio Leone, Stanley Kubrick, and Elia Kazan as
primary influences, as well as modern-day filmmakers Michael Mann and David Lynch.
His favorite actor is William Holden, and his favorite actress is Natalie Wood.
